Ichi Bike Custom Build. That's who we are, that's what we do! From small modifications to improve your riding position, to totally customized, built-from-scratch, radical machines. Here's a before and after example of one of those radical machines. The black bike is a Sun RevMX single speed retro klunker-style bike with a coaster brake. We love the old school vibe of this thing. It's a simple meat and potatoes kind of ride with a bit of attitude at a very affordable price. When the first one arrived at the shop, we added a new fork with disc tabs to put on a front brake. One thing led to another and before we knew it, the only thing left of the original bike was the frame, and that got a custom retro three color paint job. We added a Shimano Nexus 7 coaster brake rear hub, new rims, new tires, new cranks and pedals, a Brooks B17, custom made Mr Tick stainless steel bars, a front rack and so on. It was then finished off with a vintage Sun metal head badge, painted to match the frame. This project was a lot of fun.
